Rotaract Club of Caloocan
With the initiative of PP Manny Tamayo who was then the District Rotaract Chair for Rotary International District 3800. The alumni of Interact Club of Maypajo Integrated School was gathered to be the chartered members of the club.
Originally organized on July 28, 2014, the group was then endorse to Rotary Club of Caloocan to be the Sponsor Rotary Club during the leadership of Edgar "Egay" Erice.
Past District Interact Vice Chair Toni Jean Roque was elected as the Charter President, her sister Pauline was the Vice President, Jamie Sarah was the Charter Secretary, Mark Norman was the Charter Treasurer, and Arnold Christian was the Charter Public Information Officer.
The club was officially chartered on September 5, 2014.
From the first few years, the club has been receiving numerous recognition from its hard work and commitment to service.
Rotaract Club of Caloocan is a 4 time recipient of the "Most Outstanding Rotaract Club" in the district. This was during the Rotary Year 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2017-2018, and 2019-2020 with Platinum Distinction.
The Club also produced three "Most Outstanding President" in the district, PDRR Arnold Christian Ocampo, RY 2015 - 2016, PP Mikee Abrea, RY 2017 - 2018, who was also the president when we received the first and so far only Rotary International Presidential Citation, and IPP Joshua Nikko Baldelomar, RY 2019-2020.
Rotaractors of Caloocan are also committed to serving the Rotaract District. CP Toni Jean's appointment to various district position is a testament to that. She served as Assistant District Rotaract Representative for Zone 2 - Caloocan, during Rotary Year 2015 - 2016, District Director for Community Service during Rotary Year 2017 - 2018, and Chairperson for End Polio Campaign and Partnership during Rotary Year 2020 - 2021.
For the Rotary Year 2021-2022, PP Joshua Nikko Baldelomar will serve as Assistant District Rotaract Representative for Zone 2 - Caloocan of Rotary International District 3800 and External Partnership Associate for Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO.
The cub also produced a DISTRICT ROTARACT REPRESENTATIVE (DRR), in the persona of Arnold Christian Ocampo (RY 2017 - 2018).
With the hard work and dedication of everyone, Rotaract Club of Caloocan will continue to ignite the passion in community service, cultivate leadership, and promote “Fellowship Through Service”.
