Mabuhay ang Bantayog ng mga Filipino!
We are braving uncertainties that we might not have encountered in the past. Thousands of us are not only affected by a harrowing public health crisis—altogether, we are facing crippling economic losses, enforced poverty, and dismal administrative responses. Nevertheless, we must draw our strength from the tight-knit people who are driven to defy these odds.
The initiatives start with people. The Rotaract Club of Caloocan stands in solidarity with all the sectors of society, especially the marginalized, in battling the threats of the pandemic.
Our club has made various efforts to meet the needs of the disadvantaged. As we have sworn, we commit ourselves to our community. We take action and strive to ignite significant changes, specifically during the moments of turmoil. We encourage people to join us in this battle.
Today, we launch our official newsletter to record the braveries and fearlessness of our leaders, advocates, and every Filipino who has stood up against chaos. This is the monument of our boldness and the hope for the weak. It embodies the history of our unfaltering collective action amid unknown terrors and uncertainties.
May these writings rekindle nationalism and the growth of the collective. With, and always with, the masses, we can change the course of history even if the odds are stacked against us.
To rekindling hope and healing,
Shanin Kyle Manuel
